Current OSU Students
The Office of Scholar Development and Recognition office administers several scholarship programs funded by the Wentz Foundation and the Robberson Trust. The Wentz Leadership Scholarships recognize 100 of OSU's best scholar-leaders for their academic work and activities in support of the campus and community and Wentz Non-Traditional and Transitional Undergraduate Student Textbook awards provide support for non-traditional and "transitional" undergraduates.
Two scholarships programs administered by the Scholar Development office provide support for undergraduate research, the Freshman Research Scholars program and the Wentz Research Project awards program. The Niblack Scholars program and National Science Foundation Research Experience for Undergraduates programs offer additional research opportunities for OSU undergraduates.
Many of these scholarships afford out-standing students with opportunities that enable them to compete well for a number of prestigious national scholarships.
OSU has a strong record of success in fostering student's academic achievement. See Success Stories to learn about some of the competitive scholarship honors that OSU students have won.
